My thoughts on contemporary heroes

According to learn the Nietzsche on superman, I begin to think who is the most person I admire as the hero nowadays.

How is the superman look like?  As a conclude of Nietzsche, superman will never be resentful of the success of other. They will accept suffering as a necessary component of good thing. And therefore, they may often be lonely, out of consciousness of their own great strength. It’s useful for getting us to think about who would like to evolve into.

We would be expecting that super humans of tomorrow would be deeply compassionate, very egalitarian, uninterested in rivalry, and perhaps have ambitions to make breakthrough in science.

All in all, Zhong Nanshan  academician, a Chinese pulmonologist discovered SARS coronavirus in 2003, is properly the hero in my country on my view. Regardless of risk of infection, he took  the high-speed train to Wuhan immediately as well as he advised the other people not to go there. As the result of his efforts, people clamed down and were willing to choose self-isolation at home during the Chines New year’s holidays as a way to help fright smokeless war with the country.

Above all, I honestly believe that the more dangerous time, a person’s ability of clam and fearless, the more important. The greatness of Zhong Nanshan academician  is that he has a strong sense of responsibility and deep sympathy for other.

I enthusiastically hope that in the future  if there numerous Zhong Nanshan, the human will be better and better.

My youth went with him……

Socrates once said that life is an unrepeatable choice. I wish there was another way to open the year 2020. China does not have “Wuhan pneumonia” and Kobe and his daughter are not gone. It would be great if we could reboot in 2020.

As the 80th generation of Chinese basketball fans, I like Michael Jordan and Shaquille O‘Neal. Until kobe Bryant appeared in the NBA, I was impressed by his excellent jumping ability and almost all-round ball control. I even believe he is the next basketball genius after Michael Jordan. Although I was in China at the time, I lived and worked on American time. Because of the convenience of work, my friends and I watched every NBA game on satellite TV. I could even get first-hand information and photos from a-list reporters in Los Angeles and become one of the closest fans to an NBA stars in the “print age”.

When Michael Jordan announced his retirement in 2003, as sad as I was, I was still glad he could finally live the life they wanted. After all, the NBA also has a younger generation, such as Allen Iverson, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, LeBron James, Stephon Marbury and Marcus Camby , who have become the golden generation in NBA history. Until 2007, I left my job, lost the convenience of watching games, as well as my like-minded partners. In the small city where I lived, I was further and further away from the NBA. Even though Shaquille O ‘Neal and Yao Ming both retired in 2011, I had a deep feeling that half of my passion for basketball as a young girl had disappeared, and none of that was as devastating as the news of Kobe’s death.

Today, however, when I learned of Kobe’s death, I was so sad. He was still so young, and his passing made me feel like a part of my youth had gone with him. Youth only once, even if there is a second Kobe, I do not have a second youth to follow him.

July 4th, the Dependence Day Of U.S.A.

Today was a funny day. We learned a lot of knowledge about the dependence day of U.S.A.. Teacher wore costumes to share hers presentation. We listened  to the national music “The star spangled banner” and learned how to make traditional food” peanut butter sandwich”. On July 4th, the dependence day of U.S.A., John was the first person who signed  the document. We knew the reason why people living in U.S.A. wanted to create a new country. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France in the year of 1880.  Teacher showed us how to use the types of visual aids in a presentation in order to make our presentation more interesting.

Happy Chinese New Year!

This Friday will be Chinese New Year Eve. Happy Chinese New Year!

Through my presentaion, I find may classmates  are all very intrested in Chinese Zodica.  Most students know 2020 is the year of Rat before I begin my speech. I was  very surprised and proud of that.  This means that more and more people are getting to know and like the Chinese culture and customs, even though they come from  different countries and have their own differnt culture. I am so glad to have such an opportunity to show my classmates the Chinese New Year culture and customs. It is a prity that Chinese New Year’s customs are so rich that a five-minute speech is far from enough to intreduce the details clearly. I realy hope they will have a chance to travel to China one day and experience local life for themselves.

Dose life require a purpose?

Dose life require a purpose and a goal?

Can you imagine what your life would be like without goals and purposes?

In my opinion, life requires a purpose or a goal. It makes you achieve to be an successful person.Socrates said,” Life is an unrepeatable choice.” According to this, we can only do three things when we face with unrepeatable choice of life. Solemn choice, strive not to leave regret. If you regret, face it with reason and fight for change. If you can’t change, accept it ,don’t regret it ,and move on.

Walking Tour of the lower Manhatton

The statue of Liberty is the most famous landmark in New York. In the past, the statue of Liberty was given to the United States by French as a national gift. Today, the statue of Liberty symbolizes freedom and peace.

One World Trade Center, a single skyscraper originally named Freedom Tower, was the tallest building in the word before being destroyed.

The Changing Bull is not located on Wall Street, but in Bowling Green Park between two blocks. It’s a symbol of the bull market in the stock market, which means more money is coming in. That’s the main reason why it is so popular with tourists and people desire to take photos with it.
